Mixed Media

Right now I'm practicing for a couple of mixed pieces I want to enter in a show.  Hopefully I can participate in as many group shows as possible and then maybe have my dream of a solo show someday :0) Mayhaps in a small gallery somewhere about town.

So lately I'm learning that smaller doesn't really mean easier or quicker.  This little guy has so many quills and I have to go over each one two or three times.  I'm hoping to add color in the morning.

Last minute entry, but at this show I'll get to show several pieces. Now I just need to figure out how to hang my unframed scratchboards.

Labor Day Weekend

The Spot art show in Barrio Logan went great! Through a friend I was able to meet the owner of another new gallery across the street from the show I participated in. Small world.
Then I spent labor day building a fence.  With what little energy I had left I had to get back to the grey fox. I noticed there was something missing with her eyes and was quite pleased with the result.
